As part of the admission process, parents need to meet with Jayanthi, Indira or other staff in order to help them understand what Poorna is about and to clarify issues regarding education. At the time of interview, parents are requested to provide all pertinent details such as academic reports, other assessment reports (if any) and samples of the child's work in the previous school. It is also important for us to meet the child and if possible to have the child spend a few working days at Poorna. Sometimes we may require the child to take scholastic placement tests. For the pre-primary section, parents/caregivers are required to spend time at school with their child, in order to ease the process of entry for the young child. Please do keep in mind that spending time at Poorna does not automatically mean that a child will be enrolled at Poorna
